How to teach speaking... problems and solutions

Hello!

Nice to meet you in this post.

Here I'd like to suggest thinking about the problems you face when you teach speaking in class.
Answer the following questions:
1.What topics do you discuss with your children now? 
2. What forms do you work with?

  1. Good morning =) Fortunately, I've already finished my practice. I worked with children from the 5th form and I really liked it! Also I had extracurricular activity with the 8th form. The theme was "Сivil defense". We spoke about what to do when you hear special signals. They didn't listen to us and I hope they will die first when the gas-alarm will be.

    1. Nastja!!!It's forbidden to speak about your children like this! we should remember all the children are very nice even they are very noisy. First of all you should think that you didn'ty give them enough motivation and interest to this topic...

  2. Good evening! I have already finished my practise too. I liked it very much. I worked with children from the 6th and 7th forms and it was very interesting! My children were clever and disciplined. With 7th form children we spoke about different types of school, school subjects, school rules of behaviour etc. Also there was some reflexion: children told what they like\dislike in their school and how they can to improve it. My pupils liked this theme. With 6th form pupils we spoke about good things about being a girl\boy. Children discussed what is it better - to be girl or to be boy and gave some arguments. After this discussion we made an association-diagram all together. Pupils liked very much this kind of work. Also I had extracurricular activity with the 8th form. We spoke about Teacher's Day and made wall newspaper in order to congratulate school teachers. To conclude I want to say that I haven't any problems with my practice, but I really hated to write summary of lessons and other documentation.

  3. Why to discuss the problem of being a boy\ a girl? In any way what can we change?

    About all the documents.... no ways because of the profession. Right you are that it's very a lot.

  4. I had good practise in school. I love my 5 A and i know that they love me too. I have good marks and i was very optimistic on this practise. I had very clever girls and boys and i use different form and methods on the lesson and i think it was very important. I played with children and for good work they got gold coins from me and on the last lesson i presented one boy a good book and other children got candies from me. It was the best time, i very enjoyed my practise.

  5. Good evening:) Unfortunately, I completely forgot to drop you a few lines about my first days of practise at school. Now the practise is over and... and there is not so much to be said about it. I just would like to mention that it was one of the most incredible practises I've ever had! And a funny one at that=) I worked with the children from the 6th grade and I liked them very much 'cause they didn't make a noise at my lessons, they were listening to me attentively when I was explaining a new material to them (or maybe it just seemed to me), and the most important thing - they were friendly to me from the first day of my practise. The only drawback was that they didn't CONSNTANTLY do their hometasks but... but it doesn't matter today. It seems to me that they liked to attend my English lessons, judging from the look of their eyes 'cuz I was striving to create a positive atmoshere at my lessons and make studying of English more interesting, using different pictures and sometimes even jokes and tongue-twisters while explaining a material of the subject. That's why it was FUNNY. But sometimes children replied to my jokes with their own jokes - it was INCREDIBLE! In conclusion I'd like to say that I really miss those days of my practise that had already gone.
    P.S. Next time I'll try to use more various GAMES and, as you may have guessed, - more JOKES.

  6. Good morning!I've already finished my practic anfortunately. I very lked my practice and my children. I worked with 2d, 3d,4th,5th,7th,10th and 11th form. It was great. I understand that i would like to work with little children.
    We discussed food, home(room and furniture), school subjects, how to write letters, different tenses,comparative degree of adj, plans for future, irregular verbs. I used different methods, we played a different games. With 5th grade i had a extracurricular activity - what is a Friendship?! We played a game, draw a collage mand wathc the wideo abot friendship!!
    I dont want to study a wold like to teach little KIIIIIDS
